It occurred to me that I have no evidence of my third year work up on here so here is a clip which was animated by me (up until the lift where I assisted) from my stop-motion graduate film 'Marionette' If you'd like to see my complete showreel and website which has more information on Marionette, click here!

My Yannick Corboz book came!
My Yannick Corboz book finally came the other day, for those of you who don't know him, he does incredible watercolours of women, amongst other things! I've been trying to pick up a bit of his style- here are some of my attempts, I've still got a long way to go!

My good friend Lillian Todd-Jones has recently finished her first album and has started to tour with her fantastic band, I wanted to draw a little something to mark the occasion. Not sure if it's fully finished yet but this will do for now! (And yes, she realy does have a Jackdaw which sits on her shoulder- although not during gigs... yet!)
Check her music out here.
A little step by step, I always find them interesting:

Pests...
Last March I jetted off to Wellington, New Zealand to stay with family friend and celebrated illustrator Alan Lee. Alan and John Howe are the lead concept artists for the Hobbit which was still in full swing when I arrived (lucky me!) This was an illustration I drew up while visiting his studio- understandably I had dragons on my mind!
Professors and Nomads...
Graduation day resulted in a number of great pictures, but my Grandad in my grad cap topped them all, he looked so good I had to do a quick sketch. I'm not really happy with the face but I'm hoping to practice my Photoshop sketching over the Summer.
My Cousins introduced me to a independent film called The Cave of the Yellow Dog, a beautiful film about the day to day lives of a nomadic Mongolian family. This is a very loose sketch of the eldest daughter. I'm still struggling with sketching straight into Photoshop, but I'm getting slightly better each time :)
